A Legacy Built on Craftsmanship
Francesco Fuorivia, our founding owner, started Beechwood Construction in 1978. In those early years, Francesco focused on small projects, building a reputation for meticulous craftsmanship and honest work. As word spread about the quality of his work, he branched off to larger projects—custom homes, major renovations, and outdoor living spaces throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
In 2009, Francesco's son Michael (Mike) took over the company and continued the legacy of excellence. With his hands-on construction experience and organizational skills, Mike built a stronger, more capable team to serve GTA homeowners. A key part of that team is Fortunato Pezzo, who joined as Vice President, lending deep expertise in operations and client relations.
Today, Mike handles both the job site and administration—personally overseeing every project, coordinating trades, and ensuring the same attention to detail his father instilled in him. Together with Fortunato, he manages schedules, client communications, and permits, ensuring every project runs smoothly from start to finish. This hands-on leadership delivers the personalized service that has earned Beechwood its outstanding referral rate.
